About the Job:
We are seeking a proactive, innovative, and experienced Business Development / Marketing Manager to lead the growth of Starcare International Hospital’s patient outreach, brand visibility, corporate partnerships, and overall business performance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of healthcare marketing, and a proven track record in executing successful campaigns and business expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, corporate tie-ups, and institutional partnerships.
Develop strategies to increase patient footfall and revenue growth across service verticals.
Liaise with insurance companies, HMOs, and referral doctors to strengthen the referral network.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Marketing & Brand Strategy:
Plan and implement strategic marketing campaigns to promote hospital services and specialties.
Oversee digital marketing, social media, PR, and content development to ensure strong online and offline brand presence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to organize health camps, community outreach, and promotional events.
Monitor performance metrics of campaigns and generate insights to optimize marketing ROI.
Team & Budget Management:
Lead and guide the marketing and BD team to deliver consistent performance.
Manage departmental budgets and ensure effective allocation of resources.
Skills & Experience Required:
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related field.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in healthcare marketing and business development.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Deep understanding of healthcare consumer behavior and referral marketing.
Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools and analytics.
Desirable:
MBA or Postgraduate qualification in Marketing / Hospital Management.
Experience working in multi-specialty hospitals or healthcare chains.
Knowledge of CRM systems and healthcare technology tools.
Existing network of HMO/insurance partners and corporate contacts in Lagos.
